چکیده

With increased global competition and ever-changing customer demands, manufacturing enterprises have to cope with changing markets that are unpredictable and diverse, which leads to the emergence of the virtual enterprise (VE). On the other hand, as enterprises concentrate on their core competencies and economic benefit VEs is becoming a growing trend. In a VE, any member enterprise should take initiative in involvement according to the internal production condition, which is changing dynamically with independent management sovereignty. Just under the environment, this paper develops a dynamic multi-agent-based task assignment system including Production agent, Information control center agent, Task Agent and Resource Agent, for VEs, attempting to address the selection of individually managed partners and the process of assigning tasks to them. Finally, decision-making mechanisms of task assignment such as partner-selection decisions, resource agent-selection decisions as well as task-selection decisions were studied.

Automatic Generation of a Multi Agent System for Crisis Management by a Model Driven Approach

Considering the increasing occurrences of unexpected events and the need for pre-crisis planning in order to reduce risks and losses, modeling instant response environments is needed more than ever. Modeling may lead to more careful planning for crisis-response operations, such as team formation, task assignment, and doing the task by teams. A common challenge in this way is that the model shou...

A class of multi-agent discrete hybrid non linearizable systems: Optimal controller design based on quasi-Newton algorithm for a class of sign-undefinite hessian cost functions

In the present paper, a class of hybrid, nonlinear and non linearizable dynamic systems is considered. The noted dynamic system is generalized to a multi-agent configuration. The interaction of agents is presented based on graph theory and finally, an interaction tensor defines the multi-agent system in leader-follower consensus in order to design a desirable controller for the noted system. A...

A multi agent method for cell formation with uncertain situation, based on information theory

This paper assumes the cell formation problem as a distributed decision network. It proposes an approach based on application and extension of information theory concepts, in order to analyze informational complexity in an agent- based system, due to interdependence between agents. Based on this approach, new quantitative concepts and definitions are proposed in order to measure the amount of t...
